In earning her bachelor’s degree in architecture at the University of Virginia, Stuart harnessed the skills that shape her natural love of design. Before New York, she practiced at ENV-VA where her work spanned healthcare, multi-family, corporate office, education, residential, and retail projects – contributing in both architecture and interior design roles.

Stuart designs with an economy of means, believing that regardless of budget, any project has opportunities to press every square inch to the service of its users.

Stuart is a believer in community. She is a maker in many senses of the word. If she’s not at work, she is likely getting together with others to write, draw, paint, woodwork, sew, or observe wonderful works of design made by others. She likes to live by the motto: “Why not see beautiful things?”
